孫文西路步行街作為中山城市記憶的載體、中山人的精神家園，是中山的商業集散地，承載了好幾代中山人的記憶與鄉愁。但是，隨著時間的推移，街區存在的問題日益顯現。今年，中山對孫文西路步行街實施科學合理的保護活化。經過一些列活化改造，今年8月10日晚，位于中山石岐街道孫文西路步行街的香山劇場正式亮燈啟用。通過定期舉辦各類文化活動，讓“生活著的古城”更加充滿魅力和活力。
The Sunwen West Road pedestrian street stands as the carrier of urban memory and the spiritual homeland of local people. It is a business hub in Zhongshan that embodies the cherished memories and nostalgia of generations of Zhongshan people. However, as time goes on, the problems existing in the block are becoming increasingly obvious. This year, Zhongshan launched a protection and revitalization scheme for the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street, and after a series of renovation, on the evening of August 10, the Xiangshan Theater was officially put into use. By hosting regular cultural events, it makes the ancient city more charming and dynamic.
隨著石岐街道啟動香山古城保護活化工程項目(二期)——孫文中路片區改造提升工程。孫文中路沿路兩側建筑外立面進行翻新改造，兩側人行道進行修復，曾經香山古城范圍在不失原有味道的同時，實現城鄉風貌和品質大躍升。煥發出新鮮的活力！
As the protection and revitalization scheme progresses, the once-thriving “Xiangshan Ancient City” has been rejuvenated while preserving its authentic charm, with the facades of buildings along Sunwen Middle Road renovated and the sidewalks repaired. ?
